An east Suffolk hotel is celebrating after being named one of the best in the UK after being given a prestigious award.
The Crown and Castle is a five-star restaurant with 21 rooms in the picturesque village of Orford, mere minutes from the Suffolk coast.
The restaurant has many accolades to its name, including the title of the East of England Tourism Awards' Small Hotel of the Year 2022-2023, two AA Rosettes for its restaurant, and has been named an AA five-star Restaurant with Rooms.
Now, the hotel has received a Good Hotel Award for 2023/2024 for the second year running.
John Morrell, general manager of The Crown and Castle, said: "2023 has been an astounding year for The Crown and Castle and The Hotel Folk group when it comes to awards recognition.
"To be acknowledged by the Good Hotel Award once again this year is a great achievement and one which highlights the efforts the team goes to each and every day."
