Police have suspended their search for a missing man after a body was found in an Essex river.
Noel Haruna, 26, was last seen on CCTV walking along East Hill in Colchester at around 4am on October 22.
Earlier this week his family renewed an appeal to find him on his 26th birthday.
Essex police confirmed the body of a man was recovered from the River Colne in Essex earlier today.
Formal identification is yet to take place but Mr Haruna's family has been informed.
The man's death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
