New tenants have been found for a much-loved Suffolk pub after it was put on the market.
It was revealed in August that The Swan in Long Melford had been put up for rent by Greene King.
Following a three-month search for new landlords, the brewer has confirmed it has found a successor.
A Greene King spokesman said: “We can confirm we have new partners who will be taking on The Swan in Long Melford early next year.
"In the meantime, the pub remains open and we hope to share more news in the near future.”
The current tenants announced earlier this move they would be moving onto pastures new, taking over The Great House & Restaurant in Lavenham.
Having been shut for more than a year, they confirmed they would be reopening the historic venue.
A statement said: "This incredible property has stolen our heart, and we couldn't be more excited to embark on this new chapter in our lives.
"The history and charm of this place are simply unmatched - it's like stepping into a fairytale."
