Three people have been taken to hospital following a serious crash.
Emergency services including ambulance and fire were called to Evans Heath in Polstead, near Hadleigh at 5.01pm following a single-vehicle incident.
A paramedic from the emergency medical charity SARS was the first responder and helped take three people to hospital.
Their condition is currently unknown.
The A1071 remains closed as police work to clear the obstruction.
Motorists are advised to find an alternative route.
