Antiques fairs are some of the best places to go if you want to buy something unique. 

From paintings and decor to vintage toys and jewellery, events across Suffolk offer a wide range of items to browse through. 

Here are five major antique and vintage fairs to visit in Suffolk this spring. 

1. Long Melford Antiques and Vintage Fair

Where: The Old School, Hall Street, Long Melford, CO10 9DX

This antiques fair will have 30 dealers offering a range of vintage collectibles. 

It is dog friendly and entry costs £1 for adults. 

The fair is taking place twice in spring with the first event on Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31. 

The second fair is on Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28.

2. Grand Brocante

Where: Culford Hall, Culford, IP28 6TX

There will be more than 70 dealers including art artisans and food to go. 

Visitors will be able to wander round the formal gardens at the rear of the hall and some of the parkland. 

Entry costs £3 and it will take place on Sunday, May 19. 

3. Lomax Easter Southwold Antiques Fair

Where: St Felix School, Halesworth Road, Reydon, IP18 6SD

With 40 dealers indoor visitors will be able to browse and buy from new and established collectors. 

The spring fairs are happening on Easter weekend from Friday, March 29 until Sunday, March 31. 

Another antique fair will be held at the venue at the end of August.

4. Woodbridge Collectors Fair

Where: Woodbridge Community Centre, Station Road, Woodbridge, IP12 4AU

More than 40 tables will be crammed full of fascinating items. 

It is located close to the A12 and 10 minutes from the A14 making it an easy fair to get to. 

There are two more events planned for spring on Sunday, April 21 and Sunday, May 19. 

Entry will cost £1.50 per person.

5. Newmarket Antiques

Where: Newmarket Racecourse, Cambridge Road, Newmarket, CB8 0TF

With more than 200 stalls and 50 outdoor dealers this is one of the biggest antique fairs in the region. 

Thousands of people have flocked to bag a bargain here over that past 20 years. 

Entry costs £4 and the next fair is happening on Sunday, April 7.
