A Suffolk man has been convicted for speeding after he was recorded driving at 38mph in a 30mph zone.
Tobias Brown, 34, of Osborne Cottages, Grange Road, Wenhaston with Mells Hamlet, near Halesworth, pleaded guilty to the offence, which took place on the A151 Main Road in Whaplode, Lincolnshire, last August.
He was fined £133 and ordered to pay £53 to fund victim services and £110 in court costs. He also received three points to his licence.
Brown was driving a black Toyota at 4am on August 15, 2023, when the offence happened.
The case was heard at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on February 23 and the defendant did not attend.
