An 86-year-old woman has died after a crash near a west Suffolk town.
Emergency services were called to the collision, involving a blue Daihatsu Sirion and a blue Nissan Micra, on the A1307 at Horseheath, near Haverhill, at about 7.30pm on Friday.
Two women were taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge in a critical condition.
Jean Merritt, of Wheatsheaf Way, Linton, died on Tuesday, Cambridgeshire police has now confirmed.
An 85-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the car, is still being treated in hospital for serious but not life-threatening injuries.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire police said: "Jean's family would like to express their extreme gratitude to the members of the public and the medical staff at Addenbrooke's Hospital who helped her after the collision."
