A "handsome" senior dog is looking for his forever home after spending more than 100 days in RSPCA care.
Junior the American akita crossbreed was removed from his previous home by an inspector.
He is currently finding kennel life "very stressful", and staff at the RSPCA Suffolk Central branch are trying to find him his perfect retirement home.
A spokeswoman for the branch said: "He is a sweet boy, who enjoys being in the company of his favourite people, playing with his toys and enjoying all of the tasty snacks you have to offer.
"Due to his breed, he will need his new humans to groom him regularly to keep his coat in tip top conditon."
If a successful introduction at the RSPCA centre goes well then Junior may be able to live with a suitably matched, larger breed dog.
Staff at the branch also said that he can be very strong on the lead, so will need people who are safely able to handle larger breeds of dogs.
