A woman suffered a serious leg injury after she was hit by a car in a Tesco car park.
The crash happened outside the main entrance to Tesco, in Greenstead Road in Colchester some time between 3.30pm and 4.30pm on Thursday, March 28.
The pedestrain, a woman in her 70s, suffered a serious leg injury.
Essex Police has confirmed that the injury is not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
No arrests have been made but enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
Anyone with any information is being asked to contact Essex Police, quoting the incident number 808 of March 28.
