A man was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a crash yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to reports that a car crashed into a tree in Halesworth Road, Reydon just after 3.30pm.
Suffolk police closed the road at the junction with Shepherds Lane and drivers were told to find alternative routes.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service and the East of England Ambulance Service were also in attendance.
Three fire engines from Southwold, Halesworth and Lowestoft South were at the scene until a stop time was called at 4.09pm.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: "A community first responder, an ambulance, a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance officer vehicle and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were called to Halesworth Road in Reydon following reports of a collision.
"One man was transported in a serious condition by air ambulance to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital."
