A man has died following a serious crash near the coast yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called shortly after 3.30pm on Tuesday, April 9 to reports that a black Vauxhall Zafira had come off the road and collided with a tree in Halesworth Road.
The driver of the vehicle, a man aged in his 60s, was airlifted to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment where he died.
His two passengers, a man and woman both aged in their 30s, were uninjured.
The road was closed at the junction with Shepherds Lanes and drivers were told to find alternative routes.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision and are asking any motorists driving in the area at the time of the incident with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle to review the footage.
