A man and women have been arrested on suspicion of stealing a vehicle in east Suffolk.
The car was reported stolen on Thursday, April 4, from an address in Kessingland.
Later that day, Suffolk Police stopped the vehicle on Oulton Road North, Lowestoft, and arrested two people.
A hammer, an amount of cash and suspected drugs were found inside the vehicle.
The 35 year-old-woman was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, possession with intent to supply Class B or C drugs and being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.
She was taken to Great Yarmouth Police station.
The 43 year-old-man was also arrested on suspicion of taking a motor vehicle without consent, driving with excess drugs, possession of an offensive weapon and being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.
He was taken to Martlesham Police station.
Both the man and woman were released on bail and are required to return to police on May 23.
