Drivers will be left facing a huge 45-mile diversion route while a road is closed for urgent works.
The A1092 in Stoke-by-Clare, near Sudbury, will be closed between 7pm and 6am from April 22 to May 4.
While the road is closed Suffolk Highways will be carrying out carriageway patching before surfacing dressing.

According to the Suffolk County Council website the official diversion route is around 45 miles long.
The diversion route is so long as it takes drivers along A roads.
This is because some vehicles like HGVs cannot go down smaller roads that others would use as shortcuts.
