Power has been restored to almost 900 homes and businesses that were without power for most of the day.
A number of homes in west Suffolk were without electricity on Monday morning, UK Power Networks has confirmed.
The outage affected 892 homes and businesses around Bury St Edmunds, Rougham, Rattlesden and Cockfield.
It came after a yellow weather warning for strong winds has been issued for the county by the Met Office.
A spokesman for the Met Office said the strong winds may lead to "hazardous conditions".
