A fitness-loving couple are set to launch their first gym following years of work in the industry.
Tahnee Perfect and Lewis Jones will launch IGNYT Fitness at Unit 14 Spring Rise in Falconer Road, Haverhill, later this month.
The project is the culmination of the couple's shared history in the health and wellness industry.
Tahnee said: "I worked at Cambridge University sports centre for a year as a personal trainer. I then went to Puregym in Saffron Walden where I was for a year self employed.
"Lewis has been working at Cambridge University as a strength and conditioning coach for seven years.
"We're both very experienced and we are hoping to bring this to the gym."
The pair said they are excited for the new venture, which will celebrate with an open day between 10am and 2pm on April 27.
"It has been a dream for both of us really," Tahnee said.
"We're both very passionate about the industry so it just made sense.
"We also saw a gap in the market for small groups personal training which isn't really something done in the area."
Lewis explained: "The concept is you sign up and you are working in a group of up to six people with one coach.
"It takes personal training and makes it a more affordable option because you're in a bigger group."
He said they have amassed 25 sign ups already and that others are showing interest in joining.
Lewis: "Our method is based off of results. We want people to get results, enjoy the process and get to know people within the community."
The couple will also offer one to one training, weekly classes and nutrition support for their clients.
