A west Suffolk nursery has been handed an 'outstanding' rating following an Ofsted inspection.
Colourbox Montessori School, in Three Counties Way at Haverhill Research Park, was inspected by the watchdog on January 15.
The nursery, which operates a Montessori approach to early years education, offers care services for children aged up to the age of four, with 77 youngsters in its care at the time of the inspection, and employs 35 members of childcare staff.
Ofsted inspectors found staff had the "deepest knowledge and understanding of children's individual needs" and implemented their curriculum "exceptionally well".
Staff were said to help children with special educational needs and disabilities to make progress and the report stated "equality and inclusion are at the heart of everything that staff do".
Inspectors praised the "purposeful play" at the nursery and said staff take every opportunity to support children's language skills.
The management team received praise for "continuous improvement" and effective recruitment procedures.
The report said parents were "delighted" with the nursery, and described staff as "caring and knowledgeable".
Providers on the Early Years Register will normally be inspected by Ofsted at least once within a six-year window.
