A Bury St Edmunds-based wealth management company has snapped up another business.

Beckett Investment Management Group has acquired Waveney Valley Independent Financial Advisers Ltd in Harleston.

Waveney Valley IFAs was formed in 2018 and principal David Bullard and fellow directors Lee Disney and Paul Burnham have advised around 500 clients across East Anglia.

David and Lee will join Becketts as Senior Financial Planners along with the firm’s two back-office staff. Paul is set to retire from financial services after over two decades in the profession.

David said: “Becketts was the obvious home for Waveney because it shares the same values of integrity, professionalism and operational excellence as we do. We are excited to be part of a larger company that can help us deliver exceptional client outcomes while benefiting from operational efficiencies.”

Becketts chief executive Ian White welcomed the deal.
