Two people were taken to hospital after being assaulted in the early hours of the morning in a Suffolk town centre.
Police were called to the incident in North Street in Sudbury at about 3.30am on Sunday.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said officers were called to reports of a fight and two people suffered injuries as a result of the incident.
The two men were taken to hospital for treatment, but the extent of their injuries is not yet known.
One of the victims also had his wallet stolen.
