A veterinary team is organising its second charity walk for cancer research, and encouraging community participation.
On Sunday, May 12, The Wangford Vets team will take on their second fundraising walk for Cancer Research UK.
Encouraging everyone to join in, the event seeks to show support for loved ones affected by cancer and contribute to potential treatments, detection methods, and cures for this relentless disease.
Veterinary surgeon and practice owner, Walter Stohr, lost his partner to cancer 18 months ago.

Rachael, one of the reception staff at the practice has also had to battle with the disease, so they want to do this to show support for friends, families, members and colleagues.
Mr Stohr confirmed the walk symbolizes unity against cancer, embodies optimism, and holds hope for the future.
He stressed that it is not mandatory to collect sponsorship.
Participants can make a donation of their choice or even contribute by their presence alone.
According to Mr Stohr, their previous walk brought community bonding and unforgettable memories while raising nearly £3,500 for the cause.

The trek, approximately 11 miles in distance, takes a scenic circular route.
Walkers can expect to experience the RSPB Minsmere Nature Reserve, the Suffolk Coastal Path and Dunwich Heath along the journey.
For those daunted by the distance, a five-mile option is available.
It provides an opportunity to admire marshland, heath, and coast views and even possible bird-watching.

The Wangford Vets team encourages everyone to partake in the walk, have fun, and support life-changing research and services for those battling cancer.
