A cyclist has been left seriously injured after a crash closed a town road this morning.
Suffolk police were called to a collision involving a cyclist and car in High Street, Needham Market, shortly after 9.45am on Wednesday, May 1.
The road was closed while emergency services including Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service and the East of England Ambulance Service attended.

A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said the male cyclist is believed to have sustained an injury to either his hip or pelvis.
It is unknown if an ambulance took him to hospital for further treatment.
The scene was made safe and the road reopened around 10.20am.
