Drivers are being warned as three abnormal loads are being escorted through Suffolk today.
Officers from Suffolk police are notifying drivers of possible delays while the escorts take place on Friday.
The first will be arriving in Suffolk at 12pm as a 50-tonne load is transported from Hemel Hempstead to Sizewell.
The escort of the 13.5-metre long load will be: A12 Essex border – A14 – A12 - B1122 – Lover’s Lane – local roads to site.
At 12.30pm a 55-tonne abnormal load will leave Sizewell and make its way to Aylesbury.
The police escort will be: Local roads – Lover’s Lane – B1122 – A12 – A14 – A12 Essex border.
At 12pm a 44-tonne portable building will leave Sizewell and make its way to Bacton in Stowmarket.
The escort will be: Local roads – Lover’s Lane – B1122 – A12 – A14 – A12 Essex border.
