An east Suffolk coastal spot has been named among the best places in the UK to walk your dog.
The Times has included Dunwich Heath in its list of the best 17 places to walk your four-legged friends in the country.
The Coast Guard Cottage walk in the seaside village is about two and a half miles long.
Describing the route, The Times said: "Tucked away on the Suffolk coast, Dunwich Heath is a peaceful stretch of shingle beach edged by wild heathland and patches of woodland. It also has a designated 'leads off' trail for dogs, so you can relax knowing the walk will be peaceful for the local wildlife too."
Dogs should be on leads until reaching the woof walk sign.
There are a number of great places a long the way for a pitstop with the National Trust Coastguard Tearoom, the Flora Tearooms, a traditional fish and chip café at the opposite end of the beach, and they all welcome dogs.
If you forgot any essentials the National Trust site has you covered with spare leads, treats, dog waste bags and even tennis balls at the visitor information centre.
Dunwich was the capital of the Kingdom of the East Angles in the Anglo-Saxon period but much of the village has been lost to coastal erosion.
