A new Indian restaurant will open its doors to customers for the first time today.

Spice Zone took over the former Prince of Bengal restaurant in High Street, Saxmundham, when it closed down suddenly. 

The modern Indian restaurant will be open from 5pm on Tuesday, May 14 and will be open six days a week until 10.30pm.

The owner of Spice Zone said: "We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for your long waiting. 

"The new people involved are highly experienced as they run Curry India in Framlingham.

"We pride ourselves on our customer service and quality of food."

In addition to offering some favourite Indian dishes, Spice Zone also offers its own specialities to create unique meals for its customers. 

Dishes on the menu includes tandoori, traditional curries such as korma and vindaloo, and specialities like chilli kufta. 

Spice Zone will be open for eat in meal or takeaways which can be collected from the restaurant or delivered.

The restaurant will be closed on Mondays.
