An HGV caught fire near an army airbase this morning.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service were called to reports of an empty tanker on fire on the A1065 near RAF Lakenheath just after 5.30am on Wednesday.
Engines from Brandon and Mildenhall attended the scene and upon arrival discovered the engine fire had been extinguished.

Suffolk police were also called to assist with traffic management as the incident partially blocked the road.
The scene was made safe and a stop time was called around 6.30am.
Traffic sensors show delays on the A1065 have cleared.
