A man has been released on bail after armed police were spotted in a street in an east Suffolk town.
Five police dog units and armed officers were seen outside an address in Castle Street, Woodbridge, around 10am on Wednesday.
They were seen pointing guns at a property in what was later confirmed to be a pre-planned operation in the town.
All units were stood down at the end of the operation during which there was no threat to the safety of the wider public.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of fraud by false representation, assault, harassment and threats to kill.
He has been bailed to return to police on August 19 while an investigation into the incident continues.
