Traffic was stopped on the A14 in part of Suffolk after a multi-vehicle crash.
Police were called to the collision, on the eastbound carriageway near Elmswell, in mid Suffolk, at about 4pm on Thursday.
According to National Highways, there were delays of 60 minutes on approach to the incident.
Traffic has since cleared.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said two people have suffered minor injuries.
