A drug dealer who admitted supplying cannabis in a Suffolk market town has been handed a community order.
Alana Little, of Minden Road in Sudbury, appeared before Suffolk Magistrates' Court in Ipswich.
The 38-year-old was charged with possession with intent to supply a class B drug, namely cannabis, between March 2 and May 4 last year in Sudbury.
Little pleaded guilty to the charge.
Magistrates handed her a community order for a period of 12 months and told to comply with the instructions of a responsible officer for that period of time.
Breaching a community order can result in a defendant having their sentence increased or being re-sentenced.
The cannabis Little was found in possession of was destroyed and £769.22 in cash was forfeited, according to a court listing.
She was told to pay a victim surcharge of £114 within 28 days of her sentencing and an application was made for the sum to be deducted from her benefits.
Little's guilty plea was taken into account by magistrates at the court.
