Suffolk is set to host a member of the Royal Family this week.
Prince Richard, the Duke of Gloucester will be visiting the county on Thursday where he will make an appearance at the Suffolk Show.
The Suffolk Show take place at Trinity Park in Ipswich on Wednesday, May 29, and Thursday, May 30.
As well as visiting the Suffolk Show, the Duke will also be visiting the University of Suffolk on Ipswich Waterfront to officially open the new dental facility at the Neptune Quay building.
The new facility was opened in the hope of giving Suffolk patients an additional 18,000 hours of NHS-only dental appointments per year.
Ten fully-equipped dental surgery units in the University of Suffolk’s James Hehir building on Ipswich Waterfront launched at the end of last year.
In 2021 the Duke came to Ipswich to officially open The Hold, also near Ipswich Waterfront.
He was shown treasures from the Suffolk Archives collections spanning 900 years of Suffolk’s history, including the oldest document - a Charter of King Henry I granting churches and property to the monks of Eye Priory from around 1119.
