A new independent vets is coming to Hadleigh with opening day now only a few months away.
The Hadleigh Vets, located on Crockatt Road, will cater for small animals with state-of-the-art facilities including an on-site laboratory, CT scanner, x-ray, and two operating theatres.
Construction is well underway for the purpose-built practice, founded by Jess Hudson and Jo Cobbett, who have 20 years of experience between them.
They plan to open the practice in September.
The two founders, who were born and raised in Suffolk, said: “Our mission is to provide exceptional veterinary care with a personal touch. We are both very excited about opening our own practice - being able to deliver a great level of care to pets and their families is a real privilege.
“What sets us apart from other practices is our pride in building personal relationships with our clients and their pets, as well as the high level of facilities, including equipment not usually accessible in a first-opinion practice.
“We really understand that getting to know people is the key to delivering a really personalised level of care. After registering with us, each pet will have their own 'nominated vet' assigned to them. This ensures the best continuity of care and provides a friendly face as an owner's primary point of contact.
“We will be combining ‘small practice values’ and ‘modern everything else’ to truly care for people and their pets.”
Ms Hudson, a certificate holder in emergency and critical care, and Ms Cobbett, an advanced practitioner in ophthalmology, say they are excited to serve the Hadleigh community and have already had a number of clients pre-register with them.
