Move over Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden - there are new talent show judges in town.
Beccles Carnival is accepting contestants for a talent competition to be held at a riverside park.
The Beccles Carnival, held on August 17 and 18 at Beccles Quay, is hosting a new event called the Beccles Got Talent Competition.
It is inviting people of the town to show off their talents and win an opportunity to perform on an outdoor stage and a cash prize.
Annette Tackley, one of the organisers, said: “We are very keen to see all the talented people in our area including dancers, comedians, singers, dog acts, or maybe you do something completely different.”
The competition will be judged in two categories from five to 17 years and 18 and over.
To enter you will need to attend an audition day on Sunday, July 17, at Hungate Hall Beccles, applications for the auditions are available from becclesgottalent@outlook.com
The closing date for applications is 5pm on Sunday, June 30.
