A fish and chip takeaway on the Suffolk coast has been named among the best in the UK.
Love Food shared its guide to the best places to tuck into the seaside staple across the country and named the best chippie in each region.
In the East of England, Aldeburgh Fish & Chip Shop was crowned the best.
The family-run takeaway opened in 1967 and is located on High Street just a short walk from the shingle beach.
The family also own the sister restaurants The Golden Galleon, which has a bigger menu including pies and burgers, and The Upper Deck where you can dine in.

Whilst the frying technology has been updated, the recipe remains the same as it was when the shop first opened in 1967.
Speaking about the Suffolk chippie, the Love Food Guide said: "To make its exceptional fish and chips it uses fresh fish from the East Coast and delicious local potatoes fried in beef dripping.
"For the full Aldeburgh experience, grab your feast and eat it perched on the sea wall."
