A man in his 70s has died following a medical emergency at a recycling centre in an east Suffolk town.
The Felixstowe Recycling Centre in Carr Road was shut on Thursday afternoon following reports of a medical incident.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service has now confirmed a man has died following the incident.
"We were called just after 1.30pm on Thursday 20 June to a medical emergency at a recycling centre on Carr Road in Felixstowe," a statement from the ambulance service read.
"An ambulance, community first responder, ambulance officer vehicle and rapid response vehicle were sent to the scene.
"Sadly, despite the best efforts of paramedics, a man in his 70s was pronounced dead at the scene.”
