Motorists were faced with delays on the A14 following a crash.
All lanes were closed westbound between junctions J51 Needham Market and J50 Stowmarket East after a car struck the central reservation.
Shortly before 9.30pm National Highways updated a lane reopened and traffic was being released.
There were minor delays on the approach as one lane remained closed.

National Highways East had posted on X at 8.52pm saying they hoped a lane would be opened "very shortly".
Traffic is at a complete standstill with reports that some people had been stuck on the road for up to an hour.
Emergency services are currently at the scene.
