A pub in Suffolk will reopen on Friday, July 19, after a five month search for a new tenant.
The Linden Tree, Out Northgate, Bury St Edmunds, reopened in 2022 and was taken over by Stock & Bailey catering specialists.
Greene King then confirmed they were searching for a new partner with "strong experience with a food-driven pub".
A spokesperson for Greene King said: “Following our recent refurbishment, we are pleased to confirm that the Linden Tree will be reopening shortly.
Our partner at the pub has a passion for great service, high standards and a love of bringing the community together.
Many locals hold fond memories of great times spent in this pub, and the team looks forward to welcoming them back as we reopen in the next few weeks.”
Bury St Edmunds is the home of brewery Greene King and The Linden Tree is one of six Greene King pubs in the area.
