A woman suffered serious injuries after she crashed her bike in a Suffolk coastal town.
Emergency services were called to High Street in Southwold at about 9am on Wednesday, July 10 to reports of a crash involving a parked grey Vauxhall Vivaro van and a cyclist.
The cyclist – a woman aged in her 70s – suffered serious injuries in the crash and was taken to hospital, where she currently remains for treatment.
Her injuries are now being described as potentially life-changing, a spokesman for Suffolk police said.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the crash and are asking any drivers who were travelling in the area at the time with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle to review the footage for any material that may be able to help with the investigation.
