Greater Anglia, which operates trains in Suffolk, has confirmed some of its railway stations have been affected by a global IT issue.
IT giant Microsoft confirmed it was investigating an “issue” with its 365 apps and operating systems on Friday morning.
Although Microsoft said it had recovered some services, it has warned that the issue was ongoing.
In a post on X, rail operator Greater Anglia confirmed that "some" of its stations are affected by the IT outage, but did not confirm which ones.
The problem is also causing major disruption at the Port of Felixstowe and Stansted Airport.
In a statement, Microsoft said: “Our services are still seeing continuous improvements while we continue to take mitigation actions.
“We still expect that users will continue to see gradual relief as we continue to mitigate the issue.”
