A Suffolk McDonald's restaurant has had to close its doors temporarily after a car hit a nearby charging point, impacting the electrical supply.
Police were called to a crash just after midday on Sunday at the McDonald's branch in Fordham Road, Newmarket, west Suffolk.
A car had hit an electric charging point in the American food chain's car park, causing damage.
A Suffolk Police spokesperson said: "We were called to a single-car collision at around 12.15pm on Sunday.
"The car hit an electric charging point at McDonalds, Fordham Road, Newmarket. The charging point was damaged."
They confirmed there had been no injuries as a result of the crash.
A McDonald's spokesperson confirmed the branch remains closed temporarily as the electrical supply to the store was impacted by the crash.
A McDonald’s spokesperson said: "Following a nearby road traffic accident which impacted the electrical supply at our Newmarket restaurant, we have had to close the restaurant temporarily.
"We are supporting the police with their ongoing enquiries and are working hard to re-open the restaurant as soon as possible."
