A six day beer and cider festival is returning to Bury St Edmunds for its 32nd year.

The 32nd East Anglian beer and cider festival will be held from Wednesday, August 21, until Monday, August 26.

By permission of the Dean and Chapter, St Edmundsbury Cathedral will be hosting the six day festival that raises money for local charities.

Last year's event raised over £20,000 for "good causes".

The festival offers over 250 real ales, 40 ciders, craft beers, world beers, gin, Pimms, prosecco and soft drinks.

The East Anglian beer and cider festival also promises a full entertainment programme and a range of food vendors.

Ticket prices vary however a standard ticket costs £15. Weekday daytime admission, Sunday and Monday sessions will be free to make the festival accessible.
