A "significant" refurbishment is being planned for a town centre pub, it can be revealed.
Greene King is on the hunt for a new franchisee to take over the running of The George in Hadleigh.
The brewer has stated the High Street pub will also be undergoing renovation works in order to give a fresh look to the establishment.
A spokesman said: "The George will soon be undergoing a significant refurbishment internally and externally which will transform the pub for the local community.

"We’re really excited for the new pub which will offer a great selection of drinks, sport and live entertainment alongside a great pub food menu."
"The pub will be an ideal meeting place for locals, couples, and families seeking a great pub experience.
"We are also recruiting for a new franchisee to manage the pub following the refurbishment and we look forward to sharing further details on the opening in the future.”
The George is one of five pubs located in Hadleigh.
