A Stowmarket woman who shattered her ankle has completed her mission to climb Mount Snowdon.
Farrah Clay raised over £500 for East of England Ambulance service.
Ms Clay completed the hike on Monday August 26, in nine and half hours after being told by her consultant that she would never climb again.
In September 2023, she fell on her her ankle whilst bouldering and was told by doctors she would not climb again.
Ms Clay suffered multiple breaks and dislocations to her right ankle and needed surgery to insert pins and screws.
The 33-year old has chosen to support East of England Ambulance after the help she received after her fall.
She said: "When I had my injury I was obviously in a lot of pain and extremely scared, the paramedics that came out to me were amazing! They were calming, supportive and extremely professional.
"We know they are very under appreciated and the service is under extreme pressures and stress with the NHS cuts and demands and I would love to give back to those who supported me so wonderfully."
