A plot of land with permission to build a underground home with four bedrooms, sunken parking and kitchen facilities will go under the hammer this month. 

On Wednesday, September 18, land at the rear of Brick House in Bury Road, Hitcham, is among 180 lots in the latest auction being held by Clive Emson Land and Property Auctioneers.

The area of land, near Hadleigh, has been included in the auction with a guide price of £300,000.

Hitcham is located on the B1115 road between Hadleigh and Stowmarket and about 15 miles from Ipswich.

The land has been given planning permission by the council for a four-person sunken home, which will include underground parking, a underground reception hallway, a living and dining area and a kitchen.

One of the rooms will also feature an on suite and there will be a large outdoor garden to the front and rear. 

There will also be a driveway leading to the property with easy access from Bury Road. 

Bidding will go live for the land on September 16 and the auction will end on September 18.
