An emergency road closure installed following reports of a gas leak will be lifted this weekend.
Walton Avenue in Felixstowe was closed by Cadent Gas engineers on Tuesday morning to carry out repairs.
Kerry Stimson, customer operations area manager for Cadent, said: "Following reports of a smell of gas in Walton Avenue, Felixstowe, our engineers have visited the site to carry out essential repair work.
"I would like to thank residents for their understanding and patience as these repairs are completed."

It is expected work on the road will be completed by Saturday, September 7 ahead of other planned road closures in the coastal town.
Suffolk Highways has confirmed the construction of a new roundabout and highway improvements will go ahead on Monday, September 9.
Candlet Road will be closed for two months with a planned reopening date of November 10.
The work was originally due to take place from May until July earlier this year.
While Candlet Road is closed drivers will need to find alternative routes through the town such as Dock Spur Road or and Langer Road.
