An east Suffolk woman was caught behind the wheel of a car at more than three times the alcohol limit, a court heard.
Arwen Lucey, of High Street in Wickham Market, was stopped by officers while she was driving a Mini Countryman in Newmarket Road in Risby on June 16 this year, Suffolk Magistrates' Court in Ipswich was told.
The 43-year-old was charged with drink driving after recording 130 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres in breath - with the legal limit being just 35.
Lucey was handed a community order after pleading guilty to the charge at court.
She was told to abstain from consuming alcohol for a period of 50 days and handed a driving ban of 31 months, which can be reduced by 31 weeks upon the successful completion of a safety course.
Lucey was also instructed to pay costs of £85 and a surcharge of £114.
The defendant's guilty plea was taken into account at sentencing.
