More than 600 homes are without power in east Suffolk after an overhead electricity cable faulted.
Homes in IP18 6, NR34 7 and NR34 8 have been affected, leaving 634 homes without power since just after 1pm on Monday, UK Power Networks said.
UK Power Networks has sent engineers to Wangford to investigate the power cut while specialist engineers work to restore power remotely.
The electricity operator said: "Specialist engineers are also working to divert power remotely, and this can cause your lights to go on and off.
"We know that a power cut can be very disruptive; we understand this can greatly impact your daily activities and we want to support you however we can."
Power is estimated to be restored between 2.30pm and 3.30pm.
