A solo sailor on a 16-foot yacht was rescued after becoming stranded on an east Suffolk river bank.
Aldeburgh RNLI was called by the Coastguard at 8.31pm on Saturday to reports of a yacht stuck on a mud bank at the River Alde.
RNLI lifeboat Susan Scott was then launched into the river at 9.05pm and a crew arrived at the scene at about 9.30pm.

On arrival, the crew found that the yacht was blocking the river and causing a traffic hazard.
The sailor on board was also said to have been very cold but was not hypothermic.
The crew then towed the lifeboat to Slaughden Quay, where they carried out further medical assessments and released the sailor.
