A Felixstowe-based shipping company says it's "thrilled" to have raised more than £50,000 for St Elizabeth Hospice in five years.
George Baker Shipping has been in partnership with the Suffolk cancer hospice since the end of 2019.
Whilst the Covid pandemic put to bed many planned fundraisers, the partnership has successfully organised events like tennis table tournaments, charity football matches and competitions to win signed Ipswich Town shirts.
The shipping company also supported the hospice with their art trails like the Big Hoot in 2022.
"We are thrilled to have reached this milestone," said David Baker, managing director at George Baker Shipping, "Supporting St Elizabeth Hospice is more than just a partnership for us."
A former staff member of the company, Chris Coom, spent his final days with the hospice before his death in 2021 and is honoured with a rock on their memorial tree.
