A pre-school has submitted proposals to extend its nursery by erecting a single-storey modular building to help expand its number of places.
Hadleigh Parkside Pre-School is looking to enhance its offering for babies and provide additional space.
The Pykenham Way nursery said in a planning statement there are "currently insufficient nurseries for babies in the Hadleigh area".
It states: "There are currently insufficient nurseries for babies in the Hadleigh area and the nursery school would like to provide this much needed service to the local community."
As a result, they hope to install a new modular building to increase the number of spaces they can offer.

If approved, it is hoped the pre-school can accommodate 12 babies aged between 0 and 2.
The proposed extension will include a baby room, a sleep room, a kitchen, toilet and a store area.
The planning statement adds: "The proposed single storey unit will result in a minimal impact on the environment in terms of both construction and scale."
According to Babergh District Council, the application will be determined by Friday, November 15.
