A spooky new production has started its performances to audiences.
Following the sell-out success of last year's Ghost Stories by Candlelight, the new production will feature four fresh tales from playwrights Tassa Deparis, James McDermott, Eloise Pennycott, and Aisha Zia.
The stories will be performed by Becky Barry and Sharan Phull, and directed by Emily Ling Williams.
More… Ghost Stories by Candlelight will run until November 2 after opening to audiences on October 17.
HighTide, an East of England company, will tour this actor-musician-led production across various venues in the region.
The tour will conclude in London with a special Halloween run at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse at Shakespeare’s Globe.
The production is made in association with Eastern Angles, Harlow Playhouse, Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds, and Shakespeare’s Globe.
The stories, set in different locations around the East of England, aim to bring modern horror to life, with settings ranging from urban Cambridge to the Essex salt marsh, Suffolk villages, and the North Norfolk coast.
