A new 24-hour McDonald's has officially opened in a Suffolk town.
The new 100 seater restaurant is now in operation at Suffolk Business Park, next to the A14, near Bury St Edmunds.
Carol Rogers, who now operates 21 McDonald's in Norfolk and Suffolk will run the new restaurant that has created around 120 new jobs.
Speaking at the opening Ms Rogers said: “I am delighted to open a new McDonald’s restaurant in Bury St Edmunds and can’t wait to see local customers enjoy our services on offer.
"People are at the heart of our business, and we look forward to welcoming new employees with the jobs our restaurant will create.
"We’re committed to investing in opportunities for a mix of all ages, life stages and backgrounds, promoting flexibility and equality.
"It’s particularly exciting to be opening this new restaurant as McDonald’s celebrates its 50th year in the UK."
Plans for the new unit were approved by West Suffolk Council in March 2023 after being initially submitted to the council in March 2022.
The restaurant is now open for dine-in, takeaway, Drive Thru and Click & Serve.
