A man who stole jacket, as well as tobacco from a Tesco Express has been jailed for six months.
Devin Paola, from Bury St Edmunds, appeared before Suffolk Magistrates' Court on Friday October 25, charged with theft from a shop.
On October 22 this year, he admitted stealing three jackets from Blacks Ltd in Auction Street in Bury St Edmunds.
The 25-year-old, of Chalk Road South in Bury St Edmunds, also admitted to stealing tobacco from Tesco Express in Stamford Court on October 5.
Paola was jailed for 26 weeks for each offence, the terms to run concurrently.
He was also ordered to pay £668 compensation and must appear before magistrates next month for pre-sentence reports for other offences.
